One-time NBA champion Jeff Green has cashed in on one of his noted investments, recently selling his custom-made Miami mansion.
Located in the northern section of Pinecrest, a wealthy residential village in Miami-Dade County, Florida, the two-story residence spans roughly 10,400 square feet and features high-end amenities designed to provide owners with privacy, space, and comfort.
Green's mansion was sold for $15.5 million
The property was listed for $16.4 million but was sold for $15.5 million. The buyer's identity was not disclosed, but it was reported to have been represented by ONE Sotheby's International Realty. Among those who took an interest in the mansion and toured the house was Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz and her musician-husband, Benji Madden.
Green bought the lot where the property stands in 2017 for $1.4 million. They developed it from the ground up, and it was completed in 2022.
The resort-style property features seven bedrooms, a home theater, a gym, and a full smart-home system. Outside, there is a pool, summer kitchen, a lighted basketball court and lush grounds fit for entertaining guests.
While the sale price was lower than what Green had asked for the estate, it was still one of the priciest deals recently closed in the Pinecrest area. It was also representative of the growing demand for properties in the low-key enclave from high-profile buyers, such as professional athletes and show business stars.

Fruits of Green's labor
The Miami mansion was one of the fruits of the labor of the now 18-year veteran Green, who has earned over $100 million throughout his career.
He has built his wealth as an NBA player, not through super-max contracts but rather through short-term deals and, of late, midlevel exceptions and veteran minimum contracts, ensuring a steady income stream.
Green's highest pay was the one-year, $15-million deal he signed with the Orlando Magic for the 2016-17 season. With the Denver Nuggets , where he won his NBA title in 2023, he signed a two-year $9-million deal.
To his credit, he has provided value for every paycheck he has received. During his prime in the late 2000s and into the 2010s, he was a key contributor, whether as a starter or off the bench, for the teams he played for, including the Oklahoma City Thunder , Boston Celtics , Memphis Grizzlies , LA Clippers and the Magic.
In recent years, his role has evolved into a more veteran voice both on and off the court, and he's nailing it to a T, making him among the most well-respected players in the league.
Green has made sure he handles his finances well and does not let all his hard work go to waste. While he is not known as a major entrepreneur, he has invested his money in several ventures, including real estate.
He is also active in charity and community work, supporting causes and organizations like the American Heart Association, which is close to his heart since he had heart surgery early in his NBA career.
Green is currently playing for Houston
Green is currently playing for the Houston Rockets , where he signed a one-year, $ 3.6 million contract in July. He has seen limited minutes and has played in only 30 games. In the playoffs, he has not been used much while the Rockets have fallen behind the Lakers in their opening-round matchup.
At the end of the season, Green, who turns 40 in August, becomes an unrestricted free agent, and it remains to be seen which team he plays for next. But regardless of what happens, he can be counted on to keep earning his keep and putting his money to good use.
