The Indiana Fever's offseason is here after their first-round series loss to the Las Vegas Aces. Now, the Fever have some serious decisions to make when it comes to their roster during the summer.
Considering the Fever's current roster, it is clear that they should be looking to make some changes this offseason. So, let's take a look at three Fever trade candidates to watch during the summer.
Lexie Hull
Lexie Hull generated plenty of chatter as a trade candidate leading up to the 2026 season, and it would not be surprising if this carries over into the summer. This is especially true considering she had a down season, averaging 5.2 points and 0.7 assists despite starting 41 of the 44 regular-season games, 11 more starts than last season.
It is fair to argue that the 27-year-old could use a change of scenery. With Hull being a solid defensive guard with decent offensive upside, she could generate interest from other teams.
Monique Billings
Monique Billings is another player who could use a fresh start elsewhere. Billings may have one more year left on her contract, but questions about her future continue to come up. The forward had a down year by her standards this season, averaging 6.5 points and 1.0 assists in 43 games. Her role was even more limited in the playoffs, as she saw only 9.7 minutes on the court while averaging 2.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game.
With how this season went for Billings, it is fair to say that she could use a fresh start. She should have her fair share of suitors, too. She could be a strong fit for both contenders and non-playoff teams.
Ultimately, Billings could be a good trade chip for the Fever to dangle to land an impactful forward. With Sophie Cunningham and Kelsey Mitchell both pending UFAs, the Fever could be on the hunt for a replacement this summer.
Raven Johnson
The Fever have a surplus of guards on their roster. Because of this, Raven Johnson could be a trade candidate to watch this summer. Johnson showed glimpses of why she was selected No. 10 overall in last year's draft during the final weeks of the regular season, and she carried that momentum into the first-round playoff series.
Her performance in the playoffs has fans particularly excited about what the future could hold. However, if the Fever want to make a big splash before the start of next season, Johnson could be another player they use in a trade package to land a more impactful player who fits right next to Caitlin Clark. Johnson averaged 3.1 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in her rookie season.
