- 4 Jaguars To Watch In Week 5 vs. Philadelphia

The Jacksonville Jaguars will travel across the pond to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in a non-conference matchup Sunday. Jacksonville will play back-to-back weeks in London against the Philadelphia Eagles and the Houston Texans, with both games counting as home games.
This will be the Jaguars' 16th game played in London since 2013.
Here are four Jaguars to watch in Week 5:

A third-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, safety Jalen Huskey will make his NFL debut. Jacksonville will be without safety Caleb Ransaw and Eric Murray, who is questionable with a concussion. Huskey played collegiate football at Bowling Green from 2022-23 and Maryland from 2024-25.
He finished his collegiate career with 11 interceptions and 10 passes defended. At Maryland, Huskey was named the school's Defensive Player of the Year and earned Second-Team All-Big Ten honors after previously earning First-Team All-MAC at Bowling Green.
"I'm ready, and I know the guys around me have confidence in me," Huskey said when asked about making his NFL debut. "I've dreamed of this moment, and I'm ready to take full advantage of this opportunity."

Jacksonville's Week 5 safety group includes rookie Jalen Huskey, Antonio Johnson and second-year player Rayuan Lane III. A former sixth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Lane played 43 defensive snaps last week against the Cincinnati Bengals (57%), the most of his career and 75% of the special team snaps, and made the game-sealing tackle in the fourth quarter.
In his rookie season, he played in all 17 regular-season games, recording a team-high 339 special-team snaps and 15 special-team tackles. Lane saw limited defensive action last season unless the game was out of hand. He finished his rookie campaign with 20 total tackles, one fumble recovery and one pass defended.
The Eagles' offensive struggles could benefit Lane and Huskey, as Philadelphia ranks 31st in passing offense and 29th in total offense and will be without wide receiver DeVonta Smith, running backs Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby, and right tackle Lane Johnson .

Jacksonville's offensive line was not its best last week. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence had a season-high four sacks and was pressured on 50% of his dropbacks. Left tackle Anton Harrison had a team-high five pressures, a sack and two penalties against a Cincinnati front that registered 10 sacks entering the game.
After transitioning from right tackle, Harrison has been up and down at left tackle. He currently has a 70.8 overall PFF grade, ranking 20th among 69 qualified offensive tackles and 38th in pass blocking. Jacksonville's entire offensive line struggled last week, but Harrison is Lawrence's blind-side protector and has a favorable matchup against an Eagles defense that is 31st in sacks with four on the season.

Jacksonville's offense has a ton of mouths to feed on the outside in Brian Thomas Jr., Jakobi Meyers, Brenton Strange, Josh Cameron and Parker Washington. Washington, however, has been Trevor Lawrence's favorite target out of the bunch. Whenever Washington has a receiving touchdown, Jacksonville has won by at least 24 points. In those two games, he recorded eight receptions for 123 yards and two touchdowns.
Through three games, Washington led Jacksonville with 15 receptions on 23 targets for 221 yards and two touchdowns. Last week, he had his worst outing of the season, posting one reception on three targets for seven yards. A bounce-back performance will be crucial for Washington, who is in a contract year.
Jacksonville and Washington could not agree on a contract extension before the season. After recording just one reception for seven yards last week, he cannot afford another lackluster performance.
Jacksonville ranks 12th in scoring offense at 26 points per game, with head coach Liam Coen at the helm calling plays. The Jaguars will face an Eagles pass defense that allows 222 yards per game and 23.3 points per game. That said, this could be the game Parker Washington needs to bounce back.
