Aaron Rodgers already knows what he wants life to look like when his NFL career ends.
The Steelers quarterback reiterated that the 2026 season will be his last before explaining that he hopes retirement will allow him to step away from public life, heal his body over and start a family with his wife, Brittani .
"I'm hopefully going to be supporting my pregnant wife because we're going to start a family, and I am not going to be making a lot of appearances or statements," Rodgers told Adam Schein in an interview at SiriusXM Mad Dog Sports Radio.
"And I'm looking forward to a life of quiet after 22 years in the pros and three in college and getting my body healed up and working on a family."

Rodgers clarified that his wife, about whom he has given very few details, is not currently pregnant.
"I'm talking about I'm hoping that I have a pregnant wife by next [year] this time," he said.
The 42-year-old said spending time with his brother's children has increased his excitement about becoming a father, which is seemingly the next chapter for one of the league's most accomplished quarterbacks.
The four-time MVP and one-time Super Bowl champion returns for his second season in Pittsburgh after helping get the team into the playoffs last year, though the Steelers were easily dispatched 30-6 by the Texans in the wild-card round.

Through 21 seasons, Rodgers has thrown for 66,274 yards and 527 touchdowns, leading active quarterbacks in both categories, against just 123 interceptions.
Rodgers completed 65.7 percent of his passes for 3,322 yards, 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions across 16 starts in 2025 as Pittsburgh won the AFC North.
Mike McCarthy, who coached Rodgers in Green Bay when the two won a Super Bowl in 2011, is beginning his first season as Steelers head coach following Mike Tomlin's departure after 19 years in charge.
This move reunites Rodgers with the coach he spent 13 seasons playing for with the Packers.
