Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers is treating the 2026 NFL season as his final year of football. There may be a good reason he's so determined to call it quits in 2027: He's about to become a dad.
Appearing on SiriusXM Mad Dog Radio on Friday, Rodgers announced that he intends to start a family with his wife, Brittani. He said intends to support his pregnant wife once he's done with football.

"I'm hopefully going to be supporting my pregnant wife because we're going to start a family and I am not going to be making a lot of appearances or statements," Rodgers said. "And I'm looking forward to a life of quiet after 22 years in the pros and three in college and getting my body healed up and working on a family. That's what I'm looking forward to."
Rodgers married Brittani in private and has not revealed anything about her identity other than the spelling of her name.
Mending the Fences
In addition to starting a family, Rodgers also spoke about his recent decision to reconcile with his long-estranged family. He admitted that he's enjoyed being an uncle to his brothers' children.

"I have a few godkids that I'm involved with, but being Uncle Aaron to my brothers' kids has been a lot of fun," Rodgers said. "And the more I'm around them, the more I get excited and so does the wife about having some of our own."
Rodgers said that he's looking forward to the next chapter of his life after football – the ups and the downs.
"I can't wait for that next chapter of life and all that that entails, and sleepless nights and crying babies and changing diapers and all those things," he said. "I'm looking forward to all of it."

Rodgers heads into the 2026 season leading a Steelers team that he managed to take to the playoffs last year, but has undergone the seismic change of moving on from longtime head coach Mike Tomlin in favor of Rodgers' former coach, Mike McCarthy.
Rodgers will have some new weapons to throw to in Michael Pittman Jr. and Germie Bernard, plus the highly-touted Max Iheanachor as one of his new linemen.
