The Kansas City Chiefs
delivered an instant classic on Sunday Night Football, defeating the Indianapolis Colts
33-30 in overtime. The game featured polarizing calls when a replay review overturned the call that wide receiver Laquon Treadwell
fumbled the ball, keeping the Colts alive when Spencer Shrader

Fantasy football analyst Jason Katz wasn't on board with the Colts' plan to kick the field goal in overtime.
"This is why I don't love kicking in overtime. Hard to imagine more than three total possessions. If you don't take the ball first, you're pretty much conceding that you're only gonna possess the ball once," Katz fumed
.
Katz further piled on the evening's main character, Treadwell, who has had a journeyman NFL career.
"Laquon Treadwell has to be a 1-of-1 player in NFL history. Undeniable Round 1 bust who somehow managed to be just good enough to remain in the league for 11 years and play in games every season of his career," Katz added

On call for the primetime showdown, after the Treadwell incident was settled, Mike Tirico said, "Absolutely insane! Wow!" Cris Collinsworth then added
, "I've never been a part of a game where anything like that happened to decide the game. Wow!"
PFN's Kyle Soppe analysed the Colts' decision to defend first during overtime and hand the ball back to the Chiefs.

"The idea of picking to defend first in OT tracks. Know what you need, green-light aggression in certain spots. I get it. But in an aggressive era with dual-threat QBs and kicking a common occurrence… I wonder if choosing to receive will be what sharp teams do," Soppe opined

Zachary Knerr applauded the Chiefs' propensity to play thrilling prime time games.

Analyst Brandon Astreicher suggested that Colts coach Shane Steichen made the wrong call by handing Patrick Mahomes
the ball back after tying the game in overtime.
"I know going for it on 4th and 8 is tough to rationalize when the FG is right there if you're Shane Steichen. But you're giving Mahomes the ball with ~2:30 left to get points. Your defense has already allowed 30 points, and you're an underdog in Arrowhead; just roll the dice," Astreicher wrote
