- ACC Power Rankings: After Week 9

Midnight on Sunday morning brought about the beginning of November. This month will see the rest of the regular season, including rivalry week, which will shape a lot of how the postseason looks.
Meanwhile in the ACC, it seems like we have a good read on who the good teams are and who might end up in the College Football Playoff. Below that though, it's a free-for-all. Here's my attempt at trying to figure out how the conference looks after last week's action.
Last Week:Beat North Carolina 38-35
UNC gave them a scare, but the Hurricanes remain atop the conference. Now, they'll play in arguably the biggest game anywhere this weekend.
This Week:Saturday at Notre Dame
Last Week:Beat Virginia 51-7
Since losing to Miami in their only blemish on the season, the Demon Deacons have five games by a collective score of 217-58.
This Week:Saturday vs. Merrimack
Last Week:Lost to Syracuse 30-27
Well, that was weird…
This Week:Friday vs. Virginia Tech
Last Week:Bye
It doesn't have as many potential national implications anymore, but SMU-Virginia Tech should be a fun game this week.
This Week:Friday at SMU
Last Week:Beat Stanford 52-24
That NC State loss is going to be a thorn in their side all year, considering they've had an otherwise fine season.
This Week:Saturday at Georgia Tech
Last Week:Beat Boston College 47-2
Their losses to Georgia Tech and UNC look weird in retrospect, as the Blue Devils have gotten back to looking perfectly good since then.
This Week:Saturday at NC State
Last Week:Beat Georgia Tech 34-11
The Panthers finally snapped their losing streak that came following the season-ending injury to Mason Heintschel.
This Week:Bye
Last Week:Beat SMU 30-27
I obviously had to move the Orange up after the SMU win, and I guess they probably have to go above the UNC team they just beat too.
This Week:Saturday vs. Clemson
Last Week:Lost to Miami 38-35
A couple games where I assumed they would get blown out, the Tar Heels have kept it close, while they've lost a couple games I thought they would've won. I don't really get this team.
This Week:Saturday at UConn
Last Week:Beat Florida State 36-24
The Tigers won the "Fans Still Pissed About Their Situation" Bowl at least.
This Week:Saturday at Syracuse
Last Week:Beat Cal 31-10
The dead cat/fired coach bounce worked for the Wolfpack last week.
This Week:Saturday vs. Duke
Last Week:Lost to Duke 47-2
Not only did BC finish with arguably the weirdest football score possible (2), but they got there in the weirdest way possible (taking a PAT conversion attempt the other way).
This Week:Saturday vs. Florida State
Last Week:Lost to Louisville 52-24
With a two-game winning steak, the Cardinal had been on an upswing, but getting obliterated by Louisville stopped that.
This Week:Bye
Last Week:Lost to Wake Forest 51-7
UVA is not good.
This Week:Bye
Last Week:Lost to Clemson 36-24
Farewell, Mike Norvell, for real this time.
This Week:Saturday at Boston College
Last Week:Lost to NC State 31-10
Their win over Virginia Tech looks absolutely bizarre the more time passes.
This Week:Bye
Last Week:Lost to Pitt 34-11
Gross!
This Week:Saturday vs. Louisville
