The wing back was devastating running up the right flank and getting into the box, and is playing some of the best football of his career.
"I feel comfortable playing with these teammates, we know each other inside out, we're having a blast!" he said to Canal Plus. He also spoke about the freedom to attack his manager gives him.
"From time to time, I move like a number 9, I finish my actions like a number 9. It's the coach who gives us those freedoms!"
That wasn't the only thing that he had to say about Lucho: the coach was seen giving his star an earful after one of the goals, and Hakimi has now revealed why that was:
"The coach thought I was arguing with the referee. It's true that I usually talk a lot with referees, but this time, it was just to ask if my goal was offside. It wasn't bad faith!"
PSG are preparing to offer a new contract to one of their main stars – although he's in no rush to sign.
Hakimi's superb hattrick was key to his team's win over Le Havre on Friday night.
