Former Texas A&M football players made their presence felt across the NFL in Week 8, with a rookie tight end finding the end zone, a veteran pass rusher recording a sack and several other Aggies contributing during Sunday's games.
Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Nate Boerkircher delivered one of the weekend's biggest highlights among former Texas A&M players, hauling in a 31-yard touchdown pass from Trevor Lawrence during a 42-7 demolition of the Indianapolis Colts.

Boerkircher's scoring catch came in the second quarter and gave Jacksonville a 14-0 advantage. It was his only reception of the afternoon, but it marked his second touchdown in consecutive games.
The former Aggies pass catcher, selected in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft, continues to establish himself as a receiving threat in Jacksonville's offense.
Von Miller also made an impact for the Dallas Cowboys, registering one sack and one solo tackle during a frustrating 33-30 overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

The veteran linebacker, who starred at Texas A&M from 2007 through 2010, provided one of Dallas' defensive highlights. However, the Cowboys couldn't prevent Arizona from pulling off the road victory.
Philadelphia Eagles punter Braden Mann stayed busy during his team's 27-10 loss to the Washington Commanders.
Mann punted five times for 221 yards, averaging 44.2 yards per attempt. His longest punt traveled 56 yards, and he placed three kicks inside Washington's 20-yard line.
The Eagles' offensive struggles have increasingly placed pressure on their special teams unit, making field position an important part of Mann's responsibilities.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive lineman Cashius Howell experienced a more difficult afternoon despite his team's 43-36 victory over the Tennessee Titans.
Howell suffered a right wrist injury during the second half and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest. His status will be worth monitoring as Cincinnati prepares for its next game.
Fellow former Aggies standout Shemar Stewart was positioned to receive additional defensive opportunities following Howell's departure.
Another former Texas A&M player, Jacksonville safety Antonio Johnson Jr., missed Sunday's victory over Indianapolis because of an ankle injury. Rookie defensive lineman Albert Regis was also inactive for the Jaguars.

Several other prominent Aggies remain part of NFL rosters, including Miami running back De'Von Achane and Los Angeles Rams defensive star Myles Garrett, although both are currently on injured reserve.
The weekend's NFL action isn't quite finished for Texas A&M fans.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Jahdae Walker and defensive lineman Shemar Turner are associated with Chicago's roster entering Monday Night Football against the Seattle Seahawks.

For Texas A&M fans, Week 8 offered another reminder of the program's extensive NFL presence, with Boerkircher's emerging role in Jacksonville providing one of the clearest reasons for optimism.
