The South Carolina Gamecocks standout started the season hot, winning Western Conference Player of the Month for May, and has maintained her tremendous play. On Friday, the WNBA recognized the five-time All-WNBA first-team selection as the Western Conference Player of the Month for June. Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark received the honor for the Eastern Conference.
Wilson led Las Vegas to a 9-2 record in June. In an average of 33.4 minutes per game, the three-time Defensive Player of the Year averaged 26.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.8 blocks while shooting 52.6% from the field.
