Ahead of Game 7, Sabres winger Alex Tuch is sending a strong message to the city of Buffalo.
"Now both teams are going to need to be desperate. I'm really excited, really happy we're able to get Sabres fans a Game 7 here," Tuch said Sunday, per The Buffalo News.
During this year's Stanley Cup Playoffs, Tuch has posted seven points. He watched as his Sabres scored seven consecutive goals on Saturday to push past Montreal, 8-3. The victory saved Buffalo from elimination and clearly puts pressure on the Canadiens to win Monday on the road.
"It's going to be awesome," Buffalo forward Tage Thompson said about Game 7, per NHL.com. "It's a new experience for a lot of guys in this room, and something you dream of growing up and we knew going into this series it was going to be a long one. They're a good team, and I think it's just something that gets you excited.

"It's another game that we get to embrace. I think if you would have asked every guy in here in September if they would have taken being in Game 7 in round two, we all would have signed up for that. So we're in a great spot. Like I said, now it's just one game. That's all that matters."
Buffalo has already defeated the Boston Bruins in this year's Stanley Cup Playoffs . Sabres fans hope their team can keep this magical run going by winning on Monday.
