Angel Reese isn't happy with the Atlanta Dream's WNBA Finals loss to the Golden State Valkyries, but she's still proud of what she accomplished.
The third-year WNBA forward released a classy "thank you" message to everyone on social media the day following her team's loss in Game 7.
Reese, a three-time All-Star, is motivated heading into Year 4.
"Year 3. 24 hours later, the first picture STILL describes this year in 1,000 words. I'm so grateful & blessed. God, THANK YOU for allowing me to play another season full of health, love, passion, joy, community, and so much more. When I pray before every game, I thank God for ALL the highs & lows because I truly mean it. I'm still numb from how it ended, but I realize not many get to experience this in just their 3rd year in the league. I'm BEYOND PROUD & have absolutely NOTHING to hang my head about. Every loss is a lesson & sometimes it's not NO, just NOT YET. Delayed, not denied," she posted.
"Trust me, I'm HUNGRY for more. Having a historic career year was special, but being surrounded by people who genuinely love & care about me meant even more. To my team, I LOVE YOU. To the fans, THANK YOU! To my REAL friends & family, you've been my rock my entire life. We win together & we lose together. WE WILL BE BACK. Atlanta, you've meant the world to me in just 7 months. I pray I get to experience this kind of joy forever. ♥️ Back to work! See y'all in 6 months. ⏰"

Reese has a lot to be proud of this year
Reese was sensational for the Atlanta Dream down the stretch of the regular season and the playoffs.
She's hopeful to be back in the WNBA Finals next season.
"This is the most fun I've had with a group. It's the most competitive team I've been part of," Reese said postgame after the Dream's 68-63 loss at Chase Center. "And just because we didn't win today doesn't mean that we won't be champions in the future."
Reese has a coach who believes in her, too.
"When individually you get better in the offseason, you get better collectively, and you can see that Karl puts a lot of work in," Reese said. "I'm sure he's going to see all of us this offseason, and I'm honestly looking forward to another year under Karl and his development and his system."
