The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team.
Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2025, questions they face and their roster outlook.
Here is cornerback Kei'Trel Clark.
Kei'Trel Clark background, 2025 season
Clark enters his fourth NFL season, all with the Cardinals. The Cardinals drafted him in the sixth round in 2023 out of Louisville. He has played in 43 games with nine starts, but seven of thsoe came his rookie season.
Last year, he appeared in 14 games, starting once, logging 25 total tackles, one for loss, two pass breakups and a forced fumble.
He played 201 defensive snaps and a career-high 168 on special teams. He had 10 total special teams tackles, tied for third on the team.
Kei'Trel Clark contract details, salary cap hit
He enters the final year of his four-year rookie contract and will be an unrestricted free agent after the season. He is due to make more than $1.1 million and will count nearly $1.2 million against the salary cap.
Roster outlook, questions he faces
Clark is in a numbers game. He is somewhere between being a bubble player to being a long shot. Previous starters Sean Murphy-Bunting and Star Thomas return from injury, and Will Johnson , Max Melton and Denzel Burke all return. Garrett Williams is recovering from a torn Achilles but could be ready to play as early as Week 1, so Clark is going to have a hard time making the roster, especially since Jonathan Gannon is gone as head coach and there is a new special teams coach.
