The Memphis Tigers will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Arkansas State Red Wolves on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. ET at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium (Memphis, Tenn.).
Memphis is coming home in high spirits after opening its season on the road and securing a 27-21 W over the UNLV Rebels.
Among those leading the charge was quarterback Marcus Stokes, who threw for 223 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Running back Jaylin Carter helped Stokes out on the ground, rushing for 97 yards and a TD.
Memphis was charging into the backfield all evening and finished the game with six sacks. That's the best this program has done in that category since 2021.
As for Arkansas State, the Red Wolves have a clean slate this season. Last year, they closed the year on the right side of .500 (7-6), and they're hoping to kick off an even more successful campaign this year.
