Arsenal have emerged as a potential destination for Inter Milan midfielder Andy Diouf, who continues to develop and impress at the Italian club. The Gunners are reportedly monitoring the Frenchman as they consider options to strengthen their squad ahead of the next season.

Inter have been among the dominant teams in Italian football in recent years, with a squad full of quality players. Diouf has the opportunity to develop in a competitive environment, but his performances have reportedly attracted interest from the Premier League.

Arsenal enjoyed a stronger European campaign than Inter last season , and they are now being linked with a move for the versatile midfielder. His ability to operate in midfield or on the wing could make him an attractive option for Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal monitor Diouf's progress

According to Fichajes , Arsenal have added Diouf to their list of potential targets as they assess players who could improve their options across the pitch. His versatility and performances for Inter are understood to have caught their attention.

At 23, Diouf is described as an important member of the Inter squad. The Italian club regard him as a valuable player and will be keen to retain his services rather than lose him to a rival.

His ability to contribute in different positions could appeal to Arsenal as they look to maintain their competitiveness across multiple competitions. However, reported interest does not necessarily mean that the Gunners have made a formal offer or that negotiations are under way.

Inter could demand a significant fee

Inter are unlikely to welcome the prospect of losing a key player, particularly if they consider him central to their plans. Arsenal would therefore need to be prepared for potentially difficult negotiations if they decide to pursue the Frenchman.

The midfielder's importance to the Italian side could influence their valuation, especially if further clubs become interested. Arsenal may have to make a substantial financial commitment to convince Inter to consider a sale.

For now, Diouf remains a reported target rather than a confirmed signing prospect. If Arsenal decide to advance their interest when the season ends, the terms demanded by Inter could prove crucial in determining whether a transfer is possible. Much will depend on the Gunners' priorities and their willingness to meet the Italian club's expectations.
