Arteta insists Arsenal star has contributed to the team's success
Since the arrival of Ezri Konsa in the summer , playing chances have been limited for Cristhian Mosquera at Arsenal this season, but Mikel Arteta insists he is a part of the plan and can still play a key role at the club. It is a testament to Arsenal's squad depth that players like Mosquera and World Cup winners Mikel Merino and Martin Zubimendi have become benchwarmers.
For Mosquera, the situation could get worse because William Saliba will soon be back on the pitch and the Frenchman will push him further down on the pecking order. Although he cannot guarantee him game time, Mikel Arteta wants Mosquera to know that he is a part of the plans at the Emirates and will get his chances.

Arteta's Message to Mosquera
The Spaniard has had good games in the Arsenal shirt, and those include matches against top opponents, so he is a player who can make an impact on the team. Arsenal know this, and there is no plan to sell him, and when asked about the defender, Arteta tells Arsenal Media :
"When he has played, he's done really well. We have won some big games playing with him, and we need him. The same with Myles [Lewis-Skelly] in another way and looking at the way he's playing.
"Or Max, today he came in [against Everton] and he seems to be very comfortable. In this kind of position. We're going to need everybody. I'm convinced of that."

A Long Season Ahead
Arteta's comments show the importance of squad depth to Arsenal's success, and the club's investment in players like Mosquera has paid off. The Gunners' ability to rotate players is a major advantage, and the fans appreciate it.
The team's versatility is a strength, and Mosquera is just one part of that. The manager's attention to detail is clear, and the players have bought into it. The results speak for themselves.
Arsenal's ambitions remain high, and every player has a role to play. The competition for places is fierce, and Mosquera must stay ready. The coming weeks will show its impact.
