Aston Villa's Andres Garcia was in the thick of a controversial Getafe win over Sevilla on Sunday.
The 23-year-old joined Getafe on a season-long loan deal from Villa in the summer.
He moved to the West Midlands in January last year from Spanish side Levante, but hasn't yet been able to carve out a role under Unai Emery.
Garcia is at the stage of his career where playing regular first-team football is key to his future prospects, and so a loan move always looked plausible.
He's so far played 14 times for Getafe since joining the Madrid-based outfit, and he's been impressing at the Estadio Coliseum.
But, his latest outing saw one particular moment that he played a key part in, shrouded in controversy.
What did Spanish media say about Andres Garcia controversy vs Sevilla?
Sunday afternoon saw Getafe welcome Sevilla to the Estadio Coliseum in La Liga, with the home side winless in three league games ahead of it.
That run has been snapped, however, as Getafe ran out 3-1 winners over Luis Garcia's side.
Garcia started and played the full 90 minutes in this one, and he grabbed the assist for Getafe's third goal deep in stoppage time.
However, as detailed by AS , the build-up to another goal had Sevilla fuming over how the officials handled a perceived foul by Garcia.
"The controversy of the match. In the 75th minute, Getafe scored their second goal after a run down the right wing by Andres Garcia," they wrote.
"In a tussle with Manu Bueno, he won the ball while the Sevilla defense ignored the play, seeing that the assistant referee had raised his flag.
"Satriano finished the cross into the box, sending it into the back of the net as the Sevilla defenders protested for a foul. After being called to the VAR monitor, García Verdura awarded the goal.
"According to Iturralde (Eduardo, ex-La Liga referee), 'the referee didn't blow his whistle, so play continued even though the assistant referee raised his flag'."
So, just how good were Garcia's underlying numbers against Sevilla, and why was the position he produced them from of interest to Villa?

Also reviewing Garcia's performance was Marca , who awarded him two stars out of a possible three.
"The changes continued, and Satriano had the chance to seal the victory. The Uruguayan threw himself forward to meet a cross from the tireless Andrés García, but his shot wasn't clean," they also wrote.
Despite being a right-back by trade, Getafe appear to be re-working Garcia to become more of an attacking player, as he started on the right wing in this one.
This could potentially open up a new avenue to a first-team role back at Aston Villa next season, and he performed very well in this position too.
Per FotMob , no player on the pitch in Getafe's win over Sevilla completed more dribbles than Garcia's four.
Meanwhile, he also created two chances, put his only shot on target, delivered two accurate crosses and won 10 of his 16 ground duels.
He also made five recoveries, four tackles and won two fouls, in what was an all-round eye-catching display from the Villa man.
Emery will want to see more of exactly that before bringing him back into his squad at Villa Park.
