Austin FC loan CJ Fodrey to Scottish Premiership team

TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Loan
Austin FC have loaned forward CJ Fodrey to Scottish Premiership side Falkirk FC through June 2027, the club announced Wednesday.
The loan includes a recall option for Austin in January 2027 and does not include a purchase option.

Austin selected the 22-year-old American No. 13 overall (first round) in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft.
Fodrey has since tallied 3g/2a in 58 first-team appearances and helped Austin FC II win the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro title.
"CJ is a talented young player and the best thing for him at this stage in his development is to be in a position to earn consistent, high-level minutes," said Austin interim head coach Davy Arnaud .
"We feel this move to the Scottish Premiership will help him to do exactly that, and CJ expressed to us that he is excited to test himself in Scotland."
