- Baltimore Prepared All Week Before Aubrey Block
Brandon Aubrey lined up from 59 yards against the Baltimore Ravens, hoping to turn a 17-13 game into a one-point deficit. Ravens safety Keondre Jackson had different plans, coming off the edge to block the kick and keep Dallas from adding three points. The play proved especially significant in a game Baltimore ended up winning 34-31.

In a later press conference, Jackson talked about how the block came from seeing a hole in Dallas' special team unit that he could exploit.

It was a funny role reversal after Baltimore had its own field goal blocked in its loss to the Saints. The Ravens appeared to place additional emphasis on special teams during their preparation for Dallas, something Jesse Minter discussed after the game.

Tyler Loop's 56-yard game-winning field goal is deservedly getting most of the attention, but Jackson's block deserves plenty of praise as well. It ended a Dallas scoring opportunity and gave Baltimore possession on a drive that eventually resulted in a touchdown, making it one of the most important special-teams plays of the afternoon.
