TheBaltimore Ravensjust can't catch a break with their search for depth up front.
I'm ready to call it. TheBaltimore Ravens, officially, have the worst luck ever in their search for some quality depth up front.
First, the team signed swing offensive linemanHakeem Adenijito the roster. He lasted several days before ultimately retiring at the beginning of August. The subsequent move for Baltimore was to call upon long-time veteranKendall Lammto replace Adeniji. At the time,I wrote that the Ravens may have accidentally fallen into an upgrade. Turns out I was wrong. Because Lamm just retired, too.

Baltimore Ravens offensive tackleKendall Lammretires, making two swing tackles to retire this month
Kendall Lamm's best stretch of his career came not that long ago, when he was a member of theMiami Dolphinsorganization. Between 2023 and 2024, Lamm started 15 of 32 games played and was a key depth piece for oft-injured tacklesTerron ArmsteadandAustin Jackson. Lamm would, routinely, come off the bench cold and play well. It was a surreal stretch of play.
But by the end of 2024, Lamm was flirting with retirement. He struggled with a back injury that ultimately required correction in the 2025 offseason. It looked like that would be it - until Lamm signed with thePhiladelphia Eaglesin the summer of 2025. He didn't stick and ultimately was back in Miami as a depth tackle.
Miami, in the midst of a youth movement, transitioned away from Lamm this offseason, leaving him on the market until the opening of training camps across the league. A short stint in Baltimore was all he apparently needed to call it a career for good. And now Baltimore's hunt for quality tackle depth is back on. Hopefully the third time is the charm.
