Marc-Andre Ter Stegen 's loan departure from Barcelona in the summer was a major point of discussion, especially given the terms of the move.
The Catalans, after all, continued to cover most of the player's salary and agreed to send him out on loan gaining nothing in the immediate future.
With neither a big fee nor salary savings arriving, many criticised the decision to let the player leave and join Ajax for one season.
Now, however, SPORT brings to light that Barcelona's administration have begun to internally celebrate the success of their plan.
Indeed, as conveyed by the outlet, Barcelona see the idea of sending Ter Stegen to Ajax to be bearing fruit now.
They see their plan working on a sporting level, as the veteran star has taken big steps towards creating a market demand for himself again.

After years of complicated injuries, there was a need to give Ter Stegen regular minutes to gain his confidence back and rebuild his market value. That objective is currently on the right track.
Barcelona know there is a world-class player in Ter Stegen and are hoping for massive salary savings and possibly even a fee for his transfer next summer – once his valuation is back where it deserves to be.
Michel's contribution, in that sense, has been massive as he has trusted the player at both Girona and Ajax and has established the player as his de facto starting option.
Jurgen Klopp has taken charge as the manager of the German national team , and he has made it very clear that Ter Stegen will be his starting goalkeeper.

The former Liverpool coach has full faith in the ex-Barcelona captain, and all eyes will be on Ter Stegen's performances in the upcoming international break.
From Barcelona's perspective, there is a lot of anticipation towards the upcoming hiatus and hope that the player can continue his good form with the national team.
After all, his performing well as Germany's number one option will only further raise his valuation.
Regardless of his performances, however, what is clear is that there is no road back to Catalonia for the player. His cycle as a Barcelona player has ended, and he will have to move on in the summer.
