Barcelona have revived their interest in Fiorentina full-back Dodo as they continue to explore options to strengthen both sides of their defence.
As reported by SPORT , the Brazilian has emerged as a potential free-transfer opportunity after deciding against extending his contract in Italy.
Notably, Barcelona have monitored his situation before and are now keeping him on their list for next season.
However, the outlet also mentions that the 27-year-old is attracting interest from AC Milan and Juventus, making the Brazilian's contract situation one to watch.
For what it is worth, Dodo is not an unfamiliar name to Barcelona's sporting department.

Club scouts have previously watched the Brazilian in person, and are said to be impressed with him due to his attack-minded approach.
His technical ability and willingness to push forward are among the qualities that have attracted attention, while five seasons competing at a high level in Serie A have given him considerable experience.
His current situation at Fiorentina, however, is far from straightforward.
Dodo has made his decision to leave the club known, and the Italian side has responded by leaving him out of the team.
The possibility of signing Dodo without a transfer fee makes him particularly interesting for Barcelona.

At the same time, Napoli are also credited with an interest, but the Brazilian full-back is not keen on the move to Naples.
As such, he is willing to wait until June before deciding on his next destination and potentially collecting a signing bonus.
Barcelona's interest does not necessarily mean Dodo is their first-choice option at right-back, as the club is assessing the position and could prioritise a more strategic signing if one of their current full-backs leaves.
On that note, the left side is also being monitored, with Leipzig's David Raum and Crystal Palace's Tyrick Mitchell among the free-agent options Barcelona have been following.
