The Chicago Bears crushed the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night, but it wasn't a perfect performance from start to finish . Some players stepped up when Chicago needed them most, while others had a night they'd like to forget.
The Bears got help from some unexpected places, including a depth piece on the defensive line who made the game-sealing play. On the other side, a few familiar names struggled to make an impact.
Here are the Bears who outperformed and underperformed expectations in their Week 8 win over the Seahawks.
Underperformed: Tyrique Stevenson

The Bears' secondary allowed a big play before halftime, and Stevenson was the culprit. He just needed to keep everything in front of him, but Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught him napping on a 43-yard touchdown.
Stevenson allowed two touchdowns on the night, and his rough season keeps getting tougher.
Outperformed: Rome Odunze

Odunze delivered the big game the Bears needed, and it was one of his best performances of the season. It hasn't been smooth sailing all year, but he looks like he is beginning to pick up steam.
Odunze recorded four receptions for 87 yards on Monday night. Each catch kept a key drive alive, and those drives led to Chicago scores.
Underperformed: Grady Jarrett

It wasn't an outright horrible performance, but Jarrett had a rough night. He's a prime candidate to benefit from the Jeffery Simmons acquisition, but he was quiet against Seattle.
His most noticeable play of the night was a 15-yard penalty.
Outperformed: James Lynch

Lynch didn't set the world on fire, but he has been a steady depth piece for a player who was a cut candidate going into training camp. On Monday night, he had a solid game.
His biggest play of the night was a game-sealing interception off a tipped pass. It was a great heads-up play, and who doesn't love to see the big guys get a pick?
