Michigan State is eyeing a return to the winners circle on Saturday evening when they host Nebraska inside of Spartan Stadium. The Spartans are looking to bounce back from their first loss of the season to Notre Dame.
A big part of the MSU defense that can impact the game on any given week is defensive tackle Ben Roberts, who even made his impact felt last Saturday, despite losing the game. Roberts is consistently a top graded player on the Spartans defense week in and week out, and his play up the middle sets the tone for MSU.
On Wednesday, Roberts spoke to the media, where he talked about his journey transferring from Oregon to Michigan State and what made him stay for three years, despite some turmoil within the program. Further, Roberts talked about how the team can continue building this season.
