Zac Taylor hinted at a bigger role for Erick All Jr. last Wednesday, and it arrived well ahead of the back half of the season. All played 33 of the Bengals' 64 offensive snaps in Sunday's 31-24 win over the Dolphins, according to PFF. That 52 percent share came a week after he logged 12 snaps (16 percent) against Jacksonville.
The whole offense looked different. Cincinnati ran 30 times and dropped back 34 after the rushing struggles against Jacksonville produced 63 dropbacks and 13 runs. Fans back home have wanted that balance, and it gives Taylor a blueprint for the bye.
Extra tight ends, more Samaje Perine

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (9) hands off to running back Samaje Perine (34) in the fourth quarter of the NFL Week 5 game between the Miami Dolphins and the Cincinnati Bengals at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026. The Bengals improved to 3-2 on the season with a 31-24 win on the road.
Drew Sample also played 33 snaps, Mike Gesicki played 28 and Tanner Hudson played 19, nearly two tight ends per snap. Miami's issues covering tight ends were a pregame topic, and Gesicki and Hudson each caught a touchdown pass. Hudson's 89.9 overall grade led the offense per PFF, though it came on 19 snaps.
Chase Brown played 38 snaps (59 percent) after taking 79 percent in Week 4 and 73 percent through four games, per PFF. Samaje Perine played 33 (52 percent), out-carried Brown 14 to 13 and caught a touchdown pass. Coming off Brown's nine-carry, 10-yard day , the split looks worth keeping.
Ja'Marr Chase played 57 snaps (89 percent) a week after his concussion , and Tee Higgins logged 45 (70 percent) despite his groin injury. That dropped Dohnte Meyers from 68 snaps to 19.
B.J. Hill's return reshuffled the interior
B.J. Hill played 32 snaps (48 percent) in his second game of the season. Kris Jenkins fell from 21 snaps in Week 4 to 11, and Jonathan Allen went from 43 (70 percent) to 37 (56 percent), part of a rotation Allen has embraced .
Boye Mafe drove the pass rush. He produced seven of the defense's 24 pressures on 49 snaps (74 percent), and his 88.0 overall grade led the unit, according to PFF. Myles Murphy added five hurries on 45 snaps, and rookie Cashius Howell's share rose from 28 percent to 36 percent.
Bryan Cook returned from the ankle injury that sidelined him in Week 4 and played 64 snaps, which pushed PJ Jules and Russ Yeast out of the defensive rotation. DJ Ivey still drew 36 snaps, and Miami targeted him eight times, per PFF.
