Heading into a Week 5 primetime clash against Matthew Stafford and the Rams, the Bills are hoping to have Benford back in the starting lineup. Benford making his second consecutive practice appearance (as a limited participant) was the good news. The bad? Alford, defensive tackle Ed Oliver (knee), and wide receiver DJ Moore (shoulder) were sidelined for the portion of the practice open to media members, while wide receiver Joshua Palmer (shoulder) was a new addition to the injury report after participating in a limited capacity.
We discuss how Benford is day-to-day as he deals with an injured toe and how he expects fellow defensive back Maxwell Hairston to "bounce back." We also hear defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard (pictured below) refute Alford's complaints that the noise in the new stadium hindered the team in their loss to the Patriots; find out how Bills starting left guard Alec Anderson is among the current players advocating for improved mental health awareness; examine what the offense needs to do to bounce back vs. the Rams; identify a few moves for Brandon Beane to make before the trade deadline; and more!
