Bills rookie safety Jalon Kilgore was handed a punishment from the NFL over the weekend along with four other NFL players. He was fined $5,560, which is nothing to wrinkle at, but it could have been higher, because these punishments get very expensive. The incident happened in the second quarter of the Bills' preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers . With just under 30 seconds left on the clock in the half, Kilgore committed an unnecessary roughness infraction for an illegal use of the helmet. So, he's learning the hard way not to do that again.
The Bills selected Kilgore in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft with the 167th overall pick.
