With 2026 NFL minicamp wrapping for the Buffalo Bills , the team made a slew of roster moves with one worth highlighted in particular.
2025 sixth-round pick by the Bills , cornerback Dorian Strong , was waived by the team with an injury designation:
Despite his late-round selection status at the 2025 NFL Draft, Strong did stand out in Buffalo. He was the Week 1 starter for the Bills last year and impressed.
After four games, Strong sustained a neck injury. The team placed him on injured reserve but context on the issue has been mum. General manager Brandon Beane only called it a "very serious" injury after the 2025 season and said surgery was required .
Per ESPN , the Bills have "the ultimate goal of placing him on reserve/NFI unless he is claimed on waivers." Regardless, he will miss the entire 2026 season.
