It's all about finding the end zone. That's the name of the game in the NFL and how we keep score. Yes, there are a lot of things that lead up to that touchdown, but, for better or worse, the touchdown is all we see sometimes. Another thing we love is predictions. So, let's combine the two and take a look at some bold touchdown predictions for the 2026 NFL season.

Dallas Goedert reaches double digits again

A lot of times, when touchdowns are discussed, regression is often discussed. In the case of Goedert, after he scored a career-high 11 touchdowns, the regression crowd is howling. It was the first time in his career that Goedert had more than five touchdowns, and the expectation is that it will come way down in 2026.
But why should it? What has changed with respect to Goedert for the upcoming season? AJ Brown is now in New England, and he was seemingly replaced by Dontayvion Wicks and rookie Makai Lemon. While each have their positives, Goedert still brings more to the table. In fact, I'd expect Goedert to take on a larger role as the de facto number two receiver for Philadelphia. He's proven to be a dependable and capable red zone target. Let's book him for another double-digit touchdown season.

Double the fun for Ashton Jeanty

Jeanty was a rookie last season, and you could argue that nothing went right. The Las Vegas Raiders were simply not very good. With Brock Bowers injured for most of the season, there wasn't much of a passing game to speak of. Geno Smith didn't do the Raiders any favors, but neither did his offensive line.

While the receiving corps is relatively unchanged, Bowers enters 2026 healthy. The offensive line is improved, and the same can be said for the quarterback position. While Kirk Cousins will be starting to begin the season, the Raiders also drafted Francisco Mendoza first overall. Jeanty is seemingly healthy after a training camp injury scare, and he's now past his rookie adjustments to life in the NFL.
Despite less-than-ideal conditions, Jeanty still ran for five touchdowns and caught five touchdown passes last season. Is it really that big of a leap to expect 20 touchdowns from Jeanty this season?

Double digits in New York

Drafted as part of the same class, both Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall are entering their fifth NFL season. It is difficult to argue with their talent, but we've also yet to see it translate into consistent results or success. Now, to be fair, they do play for the Jets, and the quarterback and coaching situations have been less than ideal.
No one is going to say that Geno Smith is the perfect quarterback or that Frank Reich is the best offensive coordinator, but things are better than they have been.
Hall has rushed for either four or five touchdowns in each of his four seasons to this point. In 2025, he reached the 1,000-yard mark (barely with 1,065) for the first time in his career. Last year was the first time that Wilson didn't reach 1,000 yards, but he also dealt with injuries for the first time in his career. Despite his success, Wilson only has one season with more than four touchdowns (seven).
As we look for more from the Jets, the bold prediction is that Hall rushes for 10 touchdowns and Wilson catches 10 touchdown passes.
