The Milwaukee Brewers made another change to their pitching staff on Friday, placing rookie right-hander Coleman Crow on the 15-day Injured List with a right forearm flexor strain. The move was made retroactive to June 10, while right-hander Craig Yoho was recalled from Triple-A Nashville to fill the roster spot.
Milwaukee has not yet provided a timetable for Crow's return, leaving questions about how long the rookie could be sidelined. The Brewers will likely take a cautious approach as they gather more information on the injury.

Unfortunate Timing for Young Right-Hander
Crow's injury comes at a difficult time after he recently achieved a major milestone by reaching the big leagues for the first time. The 25-year-old appeared in multiple roles during his rookie campaign, receiving opportunities both as a starter and out of the bullpen.
While his overall numbers were inconsistent, Crow provided valuable depth for a club that has repeatedly needed reinforcements throughout the season. His most recent outing came on June 9, when he tossed two innings in relief before the injury surfaced.
The setback is especially frustrating given the challenges Crow has already faced in his professional career.

Multiple injuries have interrupted his development over the past several seasons, limiting his opportunities to build momentum and establish himself at the upper levels of the minors before finally earning his major-league opportunity.
Brewers Continue to Lean on Organizational Depth
Despite dealing with a lengthy list of pitching injuries throughout the season, Milwaukee has remained one of the National League's top teams. The Brewers have consistently found ways to replace injured arms, relying on both young pitchers and organizational depth to keep the rotation afloat.
That depth has been tested frequently in 2026.

Brandon Woodruff is progressing through a rehab assignment and could rejoin the club later this month. Logan Henderson is also working his way back from injury, though his return is not expected immediately. Quinn Priester 's recovery process remains uncertain after another pause in his rehab assignment.
In the meantime, pitchers such as Jacob Misiorowski , Kyle Harrison , and Shane Drohan have helped stabilize the staff during a period when Milwaukee has rarely had its preferred rotation intact.
Looking Ahead
The Brewers have built much of their recent success on their ability to develop pitching internally and adapt when injuries arise. Crow's absence presents another challenge, but Milwaukee has already shown an ability to withstand adversity on the mound.

The organization will now await further updates on Crow's condition while continuing to rely on its pitching depth to navigate the remainder of June. If recent history is any indication, the Brewers will continue searching for solutions from within as they push toward another postseason berth.
