The Indiana Fever have made some big moves in WNBA free agency thus far.
Their top priority in the offseason was signing three-time All-Star Kelsey Mitchell to a new deal, and the Fever got that done as soon as the signing window opened. Mitchell agreed to a one-year superman contract worth $1.4 million , making her the first $1M+ player in franchise history.
Indiana also acted swiftly on Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham . Both stars have also signed new contracts, extending their tenure with the Fever.
At the same time, however, Indiana has also faced the inevitable. The Fever have already lost multiple players who have opted to take their talents elsewhere.

On Monday, the Las Vegas Aces announced the signing of Brianna Turner . This marks the end of the 6-foot-3 forward-center's time with the Fever.
Turner played 27 games for Indiana last season. She averaged 1.1 points and 1.9 rebounds in 8.6 minutes off the bench. Turner's one-year stop in Indiana has now officially come to an end.
Turner caught wind of the Aces' announcement post on Instagram, and the 29-year-old veteran shared her reaction. She had four words after her big move.
"excited for this opportunity!" she commented, along with a heart hands emoji.
Turner, a two-time All-Defensive Team member, has never won a WNBA championship in her seven seasons in the league. However, she has now found herself in a great position to do so.
The Aces are the defending champions heading into 2026. They have won three championships in the last four years. With reigning WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson leading the charge, Las Vegas is a frontrunner again for this season's championship.
