The Milwaukee chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America acknowledged a number of Milwaukee Brewers for their 2026 seasons, including Brice Turang as the team's Most Valuable Player.
The organization also presented awards to Jacob Misiorowski, Cooper Pratt, Abner Uribe and Christian Yelich.
Turang, the Gold Glove second baseman, was named MVP for a second straight year by the local chapter after he finished 2026 with 21 homers, 100 RBIs, 19 steals and a .268 batting average. He finished second in the National League with 37 doubles and is one of the top three finishers in the National League MVP vote.
Misiorowski was named Brewers Most Valuable Pitcher, a unanimous vote after he went 16-5 with a 1.80 ERA in 30 starts with a league-leading 252 strikeouts and 0.80 WHIP among qualified starters. He also led the NL in opponent batting average (.157), strikeout percentage (37.9) and hits per nine innings (4.95), making him the frontrunner for the NL Cy Young award.
