Jahdae Barron and Kris Abrams-Draine combined for 104 defensive snaps over the first four weeks, according to PFF. On Sunday at SoFi Stadium, each of them played all 67 of the Broncos' defensive snaps in a 23-17 win over the Chargers .
With Pat Surtain II (ankle) and Riley Moss (ribs) ruled out for the trip , Barron went from part-time piece to the corner Denver never took off the field. That role could carry into a short week, with Seattle coming to Mile High on Thursday night.

Pat Bryant played 24 snaps in the loss to San Francisco before hurting his ankle, and he went to injured reserve Friday. Troy Franklin absorbed most of that work, climbing from 32 snaps (48 percent) to 39 (63 percent). Lil'Jordan Humphrey, who had three offensive snaps all season, added 14.
Evan Engram dropped from 67 percent in Week 4 to 48 percent, splitting 30 snaps apiece with Adam Trautman. Engram still graded out at 67.3, according to PFF, and his third-down catch set up the go-ahead field goal on a day when the passing game sputtered again .
Barron and Abrams-Draine never came off
Barron entered the week with 70 snaps on the season, 40 of them in Week 4. Against Los Angeles, he made six tackles without a miss and allowed one catch on two targets, earning a 74.5 defensive grade, per PFF. Abrams-Draine graded at 53.4 and gave up three catches on four targets. Surtain and Moss could also miss Seattle .
Talanoa Hufanga, an every-snap safety in Week 4, was held to 44 after an ankle injury in the third quarter. Devon Key, who had nine defensive snaps through four weeks, picked up 26. Brandon Jones played all 67 and posted an 88.4 grade, according to PFF, capped by the late interception.
The edge snaps were spread wide. Nik Bonitto played 38 (57 percent), Jonah Elliss 37 and Quandarrius Robinson 32, while Dondrea Tillman added three pressures in 27, per PFF. Bonitto still finished with two of Denver's five sacks .
