Organized team activities (OTAs) get underway for the Denver Broncos today.
The big storyline to watch going into OTAs is the potential participation of quarterback Bo Nix ( ankle ). Before Nix had a clean-up surgery in April, the team and quarterback had said he would be ready for OTAs. Following that procedure, Nix is now said to be ready around training camp , which typically begins in late July.
Bleacher Report's James Palmer did report last week that Nix is expected to be " on the field " in June and "full-go" in July. If that's accurate, Nix could have some level of participation this month. Denver will hold OTAs from June 2-4 and June 9-11, followed by a mandatory minicamp from June 16-18.
