The Denver Broncos have made some under-the-radar moves heading into their Week 5 showdown against the Los Angeles Chargers.
On Tuesday, Denver let go of outside linebacker and practice squad player Jahfari Harvey in a move to make room for the team's signing of wide receiver Cam Ross .
"Denver terminated the practice squad contract of OLB Jahfari Harvey to sign WR Cam Ross, per the wire," Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post shared via a social media post on X (formerly Twitter).
The 25-year-old Harvey was signed by Denver to its practice squad in late September but was never promoted to the team's main roster. A former SMU Mustangs defender, Harvey went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft before getting signed by the Las Vegas Raiders.
Before that, Harvey played in two games for the Raiders, recording just a pass defended and one tackle (assist).

Meanwhile, Denver is preparing for a matchup against AFC West Division rival Chargers.
Los Angeles is on a four-game skid to start the 2026 NFL season. It looks like a perfect opportunity for the Broncos to get back to their winning ways after their 24-14 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5 in Santa Clara. However, Denver can't afford to relax, as the Chargers remain a threat, especially if Justin Herbert and company start to figure things out.
The Broncos are 2-2 through four weeks. They are 27th in the league with 18.5 points per game and 17th with 23.5 points allowed per contest.
