BOSTON — The Bruins spent most of their 4-2 win over the Seattle Kraken short on defense.
Andrew Peeke left Tuesday’s game with a lower-body injury. Fortunately for the defenseman, it doesn’t appear to be the serious.
“He’s going to skate (Friday),” coach Marco Sturm said. “We’ll see how it goes.”
It’s unclear when exactly Peeke suffered the injury. He blocked an Adam Larsson shot on his final shift.
Peeke, Sturm said, will definitely travel with the Bruins for their two-game road trip beginning Saturday against the Chicago Blackhawks and ending Tuesday against the Dallas Stars .
“As of right now, I don’t think it’s going to be long-term,” Sturm said.
