The Chicago Bulls will be without Dailyn Swain and Jordan Hawkins for their trip to Toronto to face the Raptors , with both players battling illness, according to head coach Tiago Splitter .
K.C. Johnson reported that Swain and Hawkins will not travel with the team, while Jaylin Sellers and Tobe Awaka are set to make the trip. However, Splitter did not provide a definitive breakdown of the team's active and inactive players, leaving some uncertainty surrounding Chicago's available personnel ahead of tip-off.

The update gives the Bulls an early indication of their availability situation heading into the Toronto matchup, with the absences of Swain and Hawkins confirmed before the team takes the floor.
Both players are dealing with illness, and neither will travel with the squad. Their absence means Chicago will have to prepare for the contest without two members of its roster, although the broader implications for the team's rotation remain unclear.
Meanwhile, Sellers and Awaka are traveling to Toronto, but their presence on the trip does not necessarily guarantee that either player will be available to play. Splitter has yet to clarify their status, meaning further information will be needed before Chicago's final lineup situation becomes clear.
For the Bulls, establishing player availability will be an important part of their preparations ahead of the game. With two players already ruled out of the travelling party, the coaching staff must account for their absences while waiting for confirmation on the remaining personnel.

The situation also puts the spotlight on Chicago's depth heading into the matchup. Depending on the final availability report, the Bulls could have to make adjustments to their rotation, particularly if additional players are unavailable. However, without confirmation of the active roster, the extent of any potential changes remains unknown.
Splitter's comments offer a preliminary update rather than a complete injury or availability report. Until the Bulls confirm their active and inactive lists, it remains too early to determine precisely how the absences will affect the team's rotation or playing-time distribution.
The illness-related absences add another variable to Chicago's preparations, with the coaching staff needing to establish which options will be available before finalizing their plans for the contest.
For now, the key takeaway is that Swain and Hawkins will not make the trip to Toronto because of illness, while Sellers and Awaka are travelling with the team.
Chicago's final availability report should provide further clarity on which players will be eligible to take the floor as the Bulls prepare for their matchup against Toronto.
