Burkardt's first Germany goal wiped off
Germany played out a 0-0 draw with Greece, after Jonathan Burkardt had a goal chalked off. Goalkeeper Noah Atubolu was an unused substitute.
Germany drew 0-0 away to Greece on Sunday evening. Jonathan Burkardt was part of Germany's starting line-up and thought that he had given his side the lead in the 35thminute. Unfortunately, Bayern's Tom Bischof was adjudged to have handled the ball in the lead-up. The Eintracht forward was replaced by Nick Woltemade in the 63rdminute.

Goalkeeper Noah Atubolu was an unused substitute, as was the case on Saturday for Keita Kosugi and Malik Pimpong. Japan U23s lost 1-0 to South Korea in the final of the Asian Games, while Denmark's U19 drew 3-3 with Portugal.
There will be more Eintracht involvement on Monday evening in the Nations League. Can Uzun's Türkiye host Italy in the return group match at 20:45 CEST, while Ritsu Doan's Japan take on New Zealand at 12:30 CEST in the final of the Kirin Cup in Tokyo.
