- BYU Opens as Big Favorite vs Arizona State

After suffering its first loss of the season at UCF, BYU returns home and will look to rebound versus Arizona State. Five days ahead of the game, BYU is a 16.5-point favorite over the Sun Devils as of this publishing.
Arizona is 4-3 on the year and coming off a 28-17 home win over Kansas State over the weekend, who was missing starting QB Avery Johnson. ASU made a change at QB, bringing in sixth-year senior Mikey Keene for his first start of the year. The former Fresno State and UCF signal caller had a pedestrian game in the win, finishing 10/20 with 160 yards, 0 TDs, and 0 interceptions. Freshman Cardae Mack was the star, running for 159 and 4 TDs on 26 carries. BYU will need to be much more stout against the run than they were at UCF.
Arizona State's best player may be WR Reed Harris, who is arguably the best wideout in the Big 12. The 6-foot-5 receiver had 47 receptions for 800 yards and 8 touchdowns. With BYU potentially down top corner Evan Johnson, Harris becomes a bigger matchup problem.
The game Saturday is at 1:30 MT on FOX in Provo.
