The 28-year-old Capitals netminder has started one game for Canada, which came with a win and a .960 save percentage.
Meanwhile, Fehervary added an assist for his first Olympic point in Slovakia's 6-2 victory over Germany. The 26-year-old defenseman recorded the secondary assist on the team's first goal, which was scored by Pavol Regenda .
Fehervary also led Slovakia in ice time with 22:01 on Wednesday. He is the country's leader in TOI through the tournament so far as part of the top shutdown pairing.
As of right now, Canada and Slovakia will wait to see who they each play in the semifinals. The last two quarterfinal games of the day are Finland-Switzerland and USA-Sweden.
