- Can't Wait For Saturday And the winners are ... Pekin's Dean Moran and Edelstein's Wayne Peugh
Nov. 3—***
Tip of the cap to Dean and Wayne, who picked the same 24-17 final for Illinois-Maryland, just four points off the actual 20-17.
Impressive that they nailed the Terrapins number on the button. I wonder if they had known Katin Houser would be back in the lineup how that would have changed their guesses?

About his pick, Dean said "New coach, bye week, home game (for Maryland). Enough to scare me. However, I'm jumping on the defensive bandwagon. Lots of improvement with the defense. The offense will continue to lean on the running game. Looks like the offensive line has put it together."
Great points by Dean, who has won the weekly contest multiple times.
Wayne thought he was going to get the perfect score in the final minute when Illinois reached deep into Maryland territory."
"I was tasting the pizza. LOL, then we took a knee."
Wayne reminds us what this all about: free food. If you predict the exact score for both teams, you receive a $50 gift card from Papa Del's. We have done this a few years and gift cards have gone out.
