The Pittsburgh Steelers ' new head coach, Mike McCarthy, is going to have a huge decision to make about who to bring in at quarterback this offseason. The consensus have been that the Steelers would either re-sign Aaron Rodgers for another year or make a run at Green Bay Packers quarterback Malik Willis . Now you can add Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray to the list.
On Tuesday, news came out that the Cardinals are planning to release the two-time Pro Bowl quarterback and allow him to be a free agent.
Murray is a seven-year veteran and just 28 years old. In his Career, Murray has only had three seasons where he played a full season. These injury concerns have hung over his head and despite making some amazing plays, his future is unclear if he cannot show he can stay healthy and on the field.
Murray has 20,446 career passing yards and 121 passing touchdowns, compared to 60 interceptions. Murray also has 3,193 rushing yards and 32 rushing touchdowns. Murray could be the dual-threat the Steelers need for the current NFL and help open up the passing offense with his athleticism.
