- Celtics Rule Out Neemias Queta for Bucks Game, Along with Jaylen Brown and Tatum
Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics were victorious over Tyrese Maxey and the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night, beating their division rivals by a score of 114-98. Center Neemias Queta arguably played his best game of the season, scoring a career-high 27 points while also holding down the boards, securing 17 rebounds on the night. The Celtics will now turn their focus to the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night.
After the departure of Kristaps Porzingis , Luke Kornet , and Al Horford in the offseason, the Celtics were in need of a frontcourt replacement. Queta has done his best to fill the role for Boston this season. He is averaging 10.1 ppg, 8.4 rebounds per game, and 1.3 blocks per game. Not only has Queta broken out in terms of talent, but he has also been able to be a consistent producer for Boston. Queta has played in 56 of a possible 59 games, only missing a couple of games earlier this season due to an ankle injury.

Coming off possibly his greatest performance of the season, Celtics fans were hoping for Queta to continue his positive momentum in Monday's game against the Bucks. However, despite his strong play against Philadelphia , Boston has ruled Queta out for their second game of the back-to-back due to rest. Brown (illness) will be joining him on the bench, along with Jayson Tatum , who is still recovering from his Achilles injury.
"Injury Report for tonight at MIL: Jaylen Brown - Illness (Non-Covid) - OUT Neemias Queta - Rest - OUT Jayson Tatum - Right Achilles Repair - OUT," the Celtics wrote on X.

The Boston Celtics have rewarded the young center with a "rest" day for Monday's matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks . Boston will look to bring Queta back for their March 4 matchup against the Charlotte Hornets .
