Chelsea are reportedly considering a bold move to bring Ferran Torres to Stamford Bridge before the window closes.
The Barcelona forward is enjoying a productive campaign and has drawn interest as Chelsea look to add another proven attacking option. Torres' versatility across the front line is seen as a potential fit alongside Chelsea's existing creative core.
Any deal would represent a significant financial commitment and signal Chelsea's intent to strengthen immediately rather than wait until the summer. With time running out in the window, progress on this front could move quickly.
Chelsea are also working on a series of defensive moves that could reshape their depth at the back. Plans are in motion that may see Mamadou Sarr return to London after impressing away from the club.
The young centre-back has built momentum with regular minutes and has caught the eye of Chelsea decision-makers.
These discussions form part of a broader strategy involving multiple defensive transactions ahead of the deadline. The outcome could hinge on how quickly Chelsea are able to balance incoming and outgoing moves.
Tyrique George's future is also being assessed as Chelsea evaluate options for his continued development.
The teenage winger has featured sparingly this season, prompting consideration of a short-term move to gain consistent first-team exposure. Interest from within the Premier League has intensified following changes elsewhere, creating a potential opening for a loan agreement.
Chelsea are believed to be open to both temporary and permanent solutions, depending on the structure of any proposal. For George, the coming days could determine whether he remains part of Chelsea's immediate plans or continues his progress away from Stamford Bridge.
