Chivas connecting with the Oakland community
Chivas' presence in the United States represents an opportunity for thousands of fans of Mexico's most popular and beloved club to see the players of their favorite team on the field, while also offering the chance to connect with the Latino community living in the U.S.
During the visit to Oakland for El Clásico de México, the Rebaño took time to spend quality time with local residents by visiting the Unity Council, which provides support programs for children, adults, and seniors in the area.

José Castillo, Bryan González, and Miguel Gómez were the Chivas representatives at this activity, held after the morning training session, where they signed autographs, posed for photos, and created a memorable experience for the people who came hoping to meet and greet the Guadalajara players.
To wrap up this gathering with the Oakland community, the players posed beneath the giant figure of La Catrina, a symbol of Mexican tradition and culture at this time of year, marking the lead-up to the match between Chivas and the Águilas.
