Scottie Scheffler ended his 2026 PGA Tour season with a superb win at the Tour Championship last Sunday.
Scheffler's win at East Lake was his third of the season, and it underlined his dominance in the sport.
The 30-year-old world number one now has 22 PGA Tour wins to his name since February 2022, including four major championships.
While Scottie Scheffler isn't quite at Tiger Woods ' level just yet, it's certainly fair to make comparisons between the two players.

Scheffler can break Woods' record for consecutive weeks spent at world number one if he remains at the top of the rankings until October 2028.
It is genuinely hard to envisage a scenario where that does not happen.
The man from Dallas, Texas, is just so consistent. His bad weeks seem to be top-10 finishes, and he has missed only one cut since August 2022.
Former PGA Tour player Colt Knost is a huge admirer of Scheffler, and why wouldn't he be?
While speaking on the Sub Par Podcast , Knost outlined what impresses him most about the world number one.
" He shows up to compete, whether it's at Royal Oaks Country Club playing with the Boys, or on the PGA Tour, or a major championship, he shows up to compete every day, and that's what I respect about him so much, " Knost admitted.
" In his last 100 events on the PGA Tour, he obviously has 22 wins, but he has 58 top-5s! The guy doesn't play bad. That percentage right there is just ridiculous.
" I've never seen anything like it other than Tiger Woods, but to put yourself in there week after week after week and just never have an off day.

" Look, I played this game for a living. Some days you show up, you feel like s––t, your body hurts.
" Maybe something's going on off the golf course, you're distracted, and you're like, I don't want to be here.
" And you kind of just go through the motions, you go out there, you play bad, and you call it a week.
" Scottie Scheffler does not do that. "
Knost went on to highlight just how consistently brilliant the current world number one has been over the past two years.
" I know he missed the cut at the Scottish Open. I'll give that one a pass just because you're travelling to a different time zone. It's a long flight over to Scotland to play over there, " Knost explained.
" And you have to go all the way back to the 2024 U.S. Open, where he finished 54th or whatever after winning The Memorial the week before on basically a major championship venue.
" That's going back to 2024. You pick out two weeks where it's like, yeah, he didn't have it.
" He was okay, yeah. It wasn't like it was some sort of disaster. "
The fact that Scottie Scheffler doesn't have off-weeks is a remarkable attribute, one that Tiger Woods also possessed.
It will be fascinating to watch Scheffler try to make inroads into some of Woods' records over the next decade.
