INDIANAPOLIS — Keenan Allen will not be wearing his trademark No. 13 with the Colts .
Allen, who has worn the No. 13 for his entire career with the Chargers and Bears , approached veteran wide receiver Laquon Treadwell about switching numbers.

But Treadwell decided to keep the number , and Allen isn't sure which number he'll wear in Indianapolis. Allen initially wore the No. 10 in practices and the preseason game, but he was wearing No. 11 in Thursday's practice, the number formerly worn by Michael Pittman Jr.
Allen has a weekend to decide which number he'll wear for Indianapolis.
"I think so. I tried it out today, I thought it was pretty sweet," Allen said. "Ten looked good, too, so we'll keep it going. I know we've got team pictures on Monday, so I'll have to figure something out by then."

Treadwell decided to keep the number because he felt like he's played his best football in Indianapolis in the number.

"Me and Keenan spoke three times about it already. He's just like, he's not really worried about it, and I told him, 'I respect the game and I know what you did in the number,'" Treadwell said. "But me and my family did a lot of praying about it as well, so he was cool with me keeping the number."
Wearing a different number is going to be an adjustment for Allen.
Allen has worn No. 13 for every one of his 13 NFL seasons, and it has already taken some adjustment in practices.
"A little bit, seeing Tread in it and hearing people call him 13, it's a little weird," Allen said. "Every time I hear 13, I'm looking up."
