🚨Confirmed XI: Spain go all in against England
The Spanish women's national team face a true final against England in Palma de Mallorca. The reigning world champions, second in the group with 9 points, are obliged to beat the British side (12 points) to take top spot from them and secure direct qualification for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil, thus avoiding the playoffs.
The big news for head coach Sonia Bermúdez is the return of Aitana Bonmatí , a three-time Ballon d'Or winner, now recovered from her serious fibula injury. England, managed by Sarina Wiegman, arrive with key absences in defense, most notably captain Leah Williamson , although Lauren James and Ella Toone return. Spain will look to make home advantage count to avenge the 1-0 defeat at Wembley and take a giant step toward the World Cup.
