⚠️ Copete has meniscus surgery, season over for him
Definitive blow for the defense after the worst news was confirmed. The Valencia center-back, José Copete , will have to undergo surgery immediately due to a serious knee injury that will prevent him from returning to the field for the rest of the season.
According to Tribuna Deportiva , the medical decision was made in the last few minutes after evaluating the state of his meniscus. The player was injured during an accidental action in the recent match against Villarreal , where the player's expressions of pain already hinted at a complicated diagnosis for the medical team.
Although conservative treatment options were initially considered, the final tests have determined that surgery is the only way to ensure an optimal recovery. This intervention poses a critical setback for the team's tactical scheme in this final stretch.
