Details emerge about Juventus plans for Guglielmo Vicario
Although he has only been at the club for a handful of games, Juventus is convinced about Guglielmo Vicario and wants to keep him at the club for the long term. He was not their first choice target in the summer, and Juve even expressed some doubts about him when Tottenham opened the door for him to leave.
However, after they missed out on several of their targets, the Bianconeri made a move for him, and he is on loan , but he could stay. Juve still has eyes out for Alisson Becker if Liverpool allows him to leave as a free agent at the end of this season, but that may not affect Juve's plans for Vicario. Tuttomercatoweb says they are ready to sign him for 8m euros plus 2m euros in bonuses.

Vicario's Impressive Start and Juve's Plans
Juve is also ready to offer him a contract until 2030, which they expect him to accept, and he might be forced to compete with Alisson for their first-team spot if the Old Lady push on to sign the Liverpool man. For now, they are glad to have Vicario in their squad, and they consider him one of the top goalkeepers in Italy who can help them win some matches and probably some trophies by the end of this season.
The goalkeeper's early performances have eased any initial concerns, and his adaptation to Serie A has been seamless. Juventus sees him as a reliable option, and the proposed contract reflects their confidence in his abilities.

Competition and Future Outlook
The club's strategy appears to be one of depth and quality, with Vicario and Alisson potentially forming a strong goalkeeping partnership. Tottenham's willingness to negotiate will be key, and the 8m euro fee plus bonuses offers a clear pathway to a permanent deal.
Supporters have embraced Vicario's presence, and his shot-stopping has already made an impact. The coming months will clarify whether he remains the first choice or shares duties with a new arrival. Either way, Juventus's goalkeeping options look stronger than they have in years.
The Bianconeri's ambition is clear, and Vicario is central to their plans. His journey from Spurs to Turin could culminate in a long-term stay. The next few transfer windows will define his legacy at the club.
